Overview

Inkwell Fan fights from mid range, using fan projectiles to pressure enemies while controlling how they approach. Its strongest loop is built around Launch, Lingering Bone, Windrider and Enhanced Ballistics. Jadewind Shield creates breathing room and buffs projectile pressure, while Peak's Springless Silence and Forsaken Fame set up targets for Moon Shatter Spring.

Core Skills

Peak's Springless Silence

Special Skill · ~12s

Dash to the target and briefly immobilize it. Humanoid targets are launched; non-player enemies receive Lingering Bone. Hitting an already launched or marked target grants Windrider. The cast also leaves a Water Clone that you can return to within 5 seconds.

Input: Special Skill / ~ key

Jadewind Shield

Martial Skill · ~15s

Knocks back nearby enemies, jumps you backward and creates an 8-second wind barrier. The barrier blocks non-boss units and enemy projectiles. Casting it also gives a short evasive window and stacks Enhanced Ballistics up to 2 times.

Input: Q

Fan - Light Attack / Forsaken Fame

Basic / Charged

Tap for a four-hit ranged fan string. Hold to use Forsaken Fame, sending a whirlwind forward that launches humanoids or applies Lingering Bone to non-player enemies, setting up your pursuit heavy.

Input: Left Click / Hold Left Click

Fan - Heavy / Moon Shatter Spring

Heavy / Follow-up

Heavy Attack chains up to three grounded strikes. Against a launched or Lingering Bone target, trigger Moon Shatter Spring for an aerial pursuit. Windrider upgrades it from a three-hit sequence to a stronger five-hit sequence; non-player enemies take additional pursuit damage.

Input: R · Follow-up R when prompted

Martial Art Talents

Inkwell Fan Talent Line

The talent line shown in-game progressively improves the Fan's physical floor, Silkbind scaling and Moon Shatter Spring payoff. Each stage below represents the main progression bonuses to prioritize while advancing the weapon.

START
Low-Qi Follow-Up EnhancementImproves Moon Shatter Spring's critical performance against low-Qi targets.
T1
Physical Attack IncreaseImproves minimum Physical Attack scaling through Agility.
T2
Airborne Follow-Up EnhancementRaises the critical damage of Moon Shatter Spring.
T3
Silkbind Attribute IncreaseBoosts Silkbind Attack and strengthens Silkbind damage scaling.
T3+
Attribute Attack Damage EnhancementImproves skill scaling from Attribute Attack with extra Silkbind payoff.

Simple Combat Loop

  1. Cast Jadewind Shield to create space and activate Enhanced Ballistics.
  2. Use Forsaken Fame or Peak's Springless Silence to Launch or mark the target.
  3. Hit an already launched/marked target with Peak's Springless Silence when possible to gain Windrider.
  4. Trigger Moon Shatter Spring from Heavy Attack and spend Windrider on the empowered aerial sequence.
  5. Reset to range, refresh Jadewind Shield, or swap to Vernal Umbrella for projectile pressure.

Recommended Pairing

Vernal Umbrella is the natural partner because both weapons belong to Silkbind - Jade. Inkwell Fan handles barriers, launches and setup while Vernal Umbrella converts the projectile-damage window into sustained ranged pressure.
