NPC Systems
Some NPCs can be befriended through AI Chat, while others serve as quest givers, Wayfarers, merchants, sect contacts or progression specialists.
Important NPC Roles

Known Examples
Qi Sheng is important to Qinghe Oddity progression; Han Yanluo handles Masked Troupe initiation; Icchantika is central to Midnight Blades initiation. Later regions add many additional interactable NPCs.
