Moonflare is built for tanky, aggressive play. It rewards players who keep attacking while defending instead of backing off completely, giving frontline builds a strong shield window while still allowing solid pressure.

It pairs especially well with Rainwhisper, since Rainwhisper complements shield-heavy play with additional crit/healing value while shielded.

Moonflare shines in prolonged encounters where you can repeatedly leverage its shield generation to reduce incoming damage without giving up offensive pressure. It is best suited to tank and frontline builds, especially in boss fights and co-op content where absorbing hits and staying in position are more important than constant disengagement.

Thundercry Blade and Stormbreaker Spear are natural fits because their defensive frontline playstyle makes it easier to attack while defending and take advantage of the 4-piece trigger. The set also benefits from any setup that increases Max HP, since the shield scales directly from your Max HP pool.

Best fit: tanks, frontline bruisers, boss progression, co-op defense and builds that regularly attack from a guarded state.
